March 12:
1789: The United States Post Office was established.
2016: Hillary Clinton (D) wins the Northern Marianas Islands Caucus.
2016: Marco Rubio (R) wins the DC Caucus.

March 13:
1798: First Lady Abigail Powers Fillmore is born.
1868: President Andrew Johnson’s impeachment trial begins.

March 14:
1923: Warren G. Harding files his income tax report, the first U.S. President to do so.

March 15:
1767: President Andrew Jackson is born.
1820: Maine becomes the 23rd state.
1933: Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg is born.
2016: Hillary Clinton (D) wins the Florida, Illinois, Missouri, North Carolina and Ohio Primaries.
2016: Donald Trump (R) wins the Florida, Illinois, Missouri and North Carolina Primaries and Northern Marianas Islands Caucus.
2016: John Kasich (R) wins the Ohio Primary.
2016: Marco Rubio (R) ends his presidential campaign.

March 16:
1751: President James Madison is born.
1912: First Lady Pat Nixon is born.

March 17:
1905: Franklin Delano and Eleanor Roosevelt get married.

March 18:
1782: Statesman John C. Calhoun is born.
1837: President Grover Cleveland is born.
1939: Georgia ratifies the Bill of Rights.
